Big Mamou Cajun Beef Jerky - Garlic Flavor

Big Mamou Cajun Beef Jerky - Garlic Flavor

Grade: D

Big Mamou, I give up on you. After that hideous Boiled Crawfish jerky, I gave you a second chance and gave your garlic flavor a shot. You people living in other places besides Louisiana are lucky that Big Mamou can only sell their products in Louisiana because believe me when I say, you don't want to have anything to do with this stuff. First off, I don't know why they call this garlic flavor, there is no garlic flavor at all. When I think of garlic flavor jerky I'd expect it to have some garlic flavor, but no, none at all. In fact, the flavor isn't that great at all. And this stuff is too thick. A pet peeve of mine is thick jerky. Jerky should be thin and tasty, not thick, greasy, powdery, and have no flavor. Jerky this thick should be called a beef steak snack, not jerky. No wonder this stuff sits on the local supermarket shelf and no one buys it, this is terrible. Sorry Mamou, two strikes and you're out in my book, now I got to find some poor sucker to give the rest of this jerky to because I'm not eating another piece, there's too much good jerky to eat than this.

Get over it. This jerky isn't bad at all. It's a uniquely spiced jerky that's all, it's not going to taste just like boiled crawfish. Old Harold sounds like a a set in his ways old coon ass. Try something different sometimes dude.
