Liberty Jerky - Teriyaki Flavor

Liberty Jerky - Teriyaki Flavor

Grade: B

Finally, I return with more jerky reviews. It's been hectic around the Abitaman household, but I'm going to try to keep the jerky reviews coming on a semi-regular basis and to start off the new batch of jerky reviews let's look at Liberty Jerky - Teriyaki flavor. I found this jerky to be quit good, when you first bite into the jerky you can definitely tell it uses a soy sauce/teriyaki based marinade. The soy sauce/teriyaki flavor is the first thing you taste then there's a spiciness to the jerky. The spiciness isn't mouth burning hot, but you can definitely feel the heat. The other flavors of the jerky mixed well with the teriyaki and heat and made for a good jerky. There are other spices mixed into the jerky which gives the jerky a nice flavor while you are chewing it. I want to note that the soy sauce/teriyaki flavor does not overpower the other spices of the jerky.

The texture of the jerky is on the dryish side just like I like my jerky and once you start chewing on the jerky it moistens up and makes for a great chew. This is the type of jerky you really can't go wrong with.

You can order this jerky and Liberty Jerky's other flavors from their website, www.libertyjerky.com . The prices are $5.99 for 3.5 ounces and $10.99 for 7 ounces, and the shipping was reasonable. This was a good jerky to start my reviews up again, and I'll definitely be buying this jerky again!
